Import Geodata

Here we experiment with importing geodata as asset files or as script input to create Markers. See: About Frame Source for offering markerData.

I found that it was necessary to wait for the 'DOMContentLoaded' event before attempting to use even static data defined inline in the frame HTML script, as in the sample code in About Frame Source.

The following files are potential input test files containing location data in two different formats. Note that the initial import test embeds stations-3000m.txt as part of stations.html and does not read from external data assets.

Tip: see Colorado Geodata in Context for some of these markers on a map. Sometimes zooming makes markers more clickable.
